Today there is a National Memorial in place of where the trade centers once stood. This memorial has the names of everyone that was killed in a terrorist attack that took place on 9/11.

Classroom Use
I think it is important for students today to be taught the history of their own country. September 11th, 2001 is a day that changed history for Americans. Many people view 9/11 in a different way but showing students images helps them see it for themselves. Students can use these images and websites to explore and learn about the events of 9/11 and the large impact that it had on everyone. All the students could create their own timelines, story books, or images to tell the story of events of that day in history. This project could lead into teaching the students about the war that started overseas and things that changed as a result.
